Bret L. Boteler was born and raised in Texas, the heart of the oil patch. After earning his BBA in Management from Southwest Texas State University, Bret worked for General Dynamics as a purchaser for high performance electronics for the F-16 Fighter Jet. In 1991, he entered the oil and gas industry. The challenges and thrills that come with oil and gas exploration were a natural fit for Bret. He currently serves as president of EnerMax, an independent oil and natural gas drilling company that he founded in 2001.
